CLEARING IS YET TO COMMENCE!!! Its just unfortunate that the two owners of bonded warehouses (Nahco and Sahcol) are not customer friendly in approach. One would expect that they send notification note either in popular news paper of in form of poster / or circular to stake holders, especially freight agents after 24hours of closure order by NCS chief. Let even say it's an oversight. I think what should constitute any meeting agenda between freight agents and the two handling companies now is how the former would help soften the minds of importers, who might have lost millions of money for this artificial delay of cargoes in Nahco and Sahcol warehouses. I write with every sense of responsibility that Nahco and sahcol are insensitive and lack respect for importers/customers for proposing that importers/customers should pay demurrage, in stead of begging importers whose demand for damage can be justified if they decide to claim one...I use this medium to advise the two handling companies to reverse their position so as to allow clearing operation to commence without further delay...Read my blogs on cargo shipping here: http://www.valuehandlers.com/#...

If you are to produce services like this and you happen to have a partner company to compliment each other, try doing this with cooperation for it could compromise the efficiency of the services you will give to your customers.
