China is already rounding up business activities as usual, China will begin her annual holiday for a month, no wonder volume cargo from China to Lagos increased by more than 30% since November as compare to past months. U.S.A, U.K cargoes to Nigeria have also increased since November.
This is the period we get steady enquiries from other countries that are not regular to Nigeria. We can not offer less, than to offer our expertise in term of information to help you achieve your import goals.
What to do?
Whether you are a shipper, individual importer, contractor; Shipping consolidated cargo, personal/household goods, and or promotional items and materials for manufacturing you can get your goods delivered, even ahead of time.
1. As individual importer, sending goods, baggage, machines, or gift: Consider consolidated cargo to reduce entire cargo clearance cost
1a. Don't assume U.S to Lagos is a-day journey by air...
Consider that there are processes in exportation, either from U.S or from any other part of the World.. Meaning its professionally advisable to get your shipments delivered to your shipper earlier. Consider dropping your shipment with your shipper at lest a week or five days earlier.
2. As a shipper: our advice is that you provide your clearing agent a copy of AWB (scanned) prior to the arrival of the cargo in Nigeria.. We recommend you provide the copy of AWB 48, or at lest 24 hours. This will facilitate clearance and reduce clearance time by 24-48hours.
