airline to confirm the arrival of the consignment at the airport. This document
must be accompanied with National Identity Card or International passport or
Driver’s License in the case of personal effects. Letter of authority, with
complimentary card dully signed must be provided in the case of consignment,
large enough for commercial use.
Can I send/ or clear my Cargo with my
personal name?
Ans-: yes you can. There is a big “BUT”
to this answer. You must be available at the consignment’s destination to
provide vital required document, e.g. means of identification to your clearing
agent to make him/her process the clearing of your consignments on your behalf.

Can I store my goods at airport?
Ans-: Yes you can. There are privately
owned, yet secured storage facilities inside and outside Cargo shed. Most of
them are just 1-2 minute drive from/to the airport. All you need is to let your
clearing agent understand your need for this facility.
How can I find a ware-house in Nigeria?
Ans-: there are a good numbers of
secured ware house in Nigeria. You can also talk with your clearing agent on
your need for this facility, or contact a pre-shipment consultant to advice
you.
